Pittsburgh Police from Zone 1 responded for a gunshot victim who had arrived at a local hospital by private means just after 7:15 p.m.

The adult male victim suffered a gunshot wound to the back. He arrived in stable condition.

The exact location of the shooting is not yet known. Police are searching for a crime scene in the vicinity of Mount Pleasant Road.

The investigation is ongoing.
