Police have arrested one individual in connection with this incident.

A 15-year-old from Clairton, PA is charged with 2 counts of Criminal Attempt Homicide, 2 counts of Aggravated Assault, 3 gun offenses, and 2 counts of Criminal Mischief.

He will be charged as an adult.

Just after 1:30 a.m., Pittsburgh Police officers from Zone 3 first reported hearing several shots fired in the vicinity of S.18th Street and E. Carson Street on the South Side.

Responding officers quickly located three male gunshot victims at separate locations in the area.

Medics transported one victim in critical condition with a gunshot wound to the chest. The other two victims were transported in serious condition. All were taken to local trauma centers.

At least two of the victims were treated by officers until medics arrived.

One police officer suffered a wrist injury and was taken to the hospital for treatment.

Four individuals were detained as investigators processed multiple scenes. Detectives from the Violent Crime and Mobile Crime units are investigating.
