Summary: Pittsburgh Bureau of Police officers responded to a report of a robbery and possible carjacking around 1:45 a.m. on the 1900 block of Brownsville Road.
Responding officers from Zone 3 found with a male victim who stated he was with two male acquaintances when they drove to the intersection of Amanda Avenue and Birmingham Avenue in Carrick. The men exited the car and walked to a house on the 100 block of Birmingham Street.
The victim stated that the suspects assaulted him in the house, pointed a gun at him and stole his money, credit card, and car keys. The suspects drove away in the victim’s car, a 2011 blue Subaru Legacy.
The victim refused medical treatment.
