Pittsburgh Bureau of Police officers from multiple zones, as well as members of the Major Crimes Unit, responded to reports of shots fired in the 600 block of Penn Avenue at approximately 11:10 p.m.
When police arrived on scene they found two males with gun shot wounds. One male had a gunshot wound to the head, the other suffered a gunshot wound to the abdomen.
Both males were transported by EMS to local hospitals in critical condition.
Police are investigating.
