Police Responded To a Shotspotter Alert in Garfield

Summary:

Pittsburgh Police responded to a Shotspotter alert for the 300 block of N. Aiken Avenue around 2:20 p.m.

When Zone 5 officers arrived, they located a male on the 200 block of N. Graham with a gunshot wound to his lower back. The victim was conscious and alert while officers rendered aid.

Medics transported him to a local hospital in stable condition.

The Mobile Crime Unit arrived to process the scene and the investigation is ongoing.
