Summary:
Just after 8 p.m. on October 2, 2021, Pittsburgh Bureau of Fire and Pittsburgh Police responded to Universal Street in Sheraden for reports of a house fire.
At the time, the home was occupied by two people. Both made it out of the home with assistance from responding officers.
One person was taken to a hospital for treatment.
A second nearby home sustained heat damage.
The Fire Investigation Unit was on scene to determine the exact cause of the fire, which is still under investigation.
