Just after 11 a.m. on October 12, Pittsburgh Police in Zone 2 responded to a bomb threat at St. Benedict the Moor School in the Hill District.
A male caller phoned in the threat in five separate phone calls made directly to the school. School officials reported the threat to police.
Out of an abundance of caution, the school was evacuated and students and faculty were relocated to nearby Calvary Baptist Church while police investigated.
K-9 officers were brought in to sweep the building and it was deemed clear and safe for re-entry.
Police continue to investigate.
