Pittsburgh Firefighters responded to the 300 block of Kennedy Avenue for a 9-1-1 call of a house fire around 4:20 a.m.
When firefighters arrived, they observed heavy fire and smoke coming from the structure.
The residents jumped from the roof of the porch before first responders arrived. Medics evaluated the victims on scene and they were not injured.
The flames quickly spread to adjacent homes on the right and left of the original fire. The residents of those homes were able to evacuate without injuries.
Firefighters determined the 4-alarm fire to be contained around 7 a.m.
The Fire Investigation Unit will determine the cause.
