Police Respond to Shotspotter Alert, Find One Person Injured

Summary:

Police in Zone 2 responded to a Shotspotter call on the 160 block of Burrows Street just after 5:30 p.m. in West Oakland.

Upon arrival, responders found one male with a gunshot wound to his leg. Responders applied a tourniquet and he was taken to a local hospital in stable condition.

No scene was located and the investigation is ongoing.
