Summary:

Pittsburgh Police from Zone 4 responded to reports of a pedestrian hit by a vehicle at Shady Avenue and Beacon Street around 3:50 p.m.

Officers on scene spoke with a 31-year-old male who was walking in the crosswalk when he was struck. Medics transported him to the hospital in stable condition with hip and arm pain.

The driver of the vehicle remained on scene.

Police are investigating.
