Police Investigate After Juvenile Male Suffers Gunshot Wound

Summary:
Pittsburgh Police from Zone 5 responded to the 5500 block of Penn Avenue after a 9-1-1 call reporting a male shot around 8:45 p.m.
Arriving units located a juvenile male victim with a graze-type wound to the head. He was conscious and talking to police, but was unable to provide information about where the shooting occurred.
He was transported to the hospital by EMS in stable condition.
There are no suspects or arrests at this time.
Violent Crime Unit detectives are investigating.
