Pittsburgh Bureau of Fire responded for a residential structure fire in the 700 block of Sebring Avenue that began around 2 a.m.
Firefighters located a 79-year-old female who was transported to the hospital by medics in critical condition with burn injuries. A 50-year-old male resident is being treated for multiple burns. He is listed in critical, but stable condition. A female police officer was taken to the hospital for smoke inhalation. There were no reported injuries to firefighters.
The occupants of houses on either side were evacuated as a precaution.
Detectives from the Fire Investigation Unit are investigating the exact cause of the fire.
