Police Investigating Pedestrian Hit and Run in Homewood South

Summary:
Pittsburgh Police from Zone 5, Fire, and EMS responded to reports of a pedestrian struck by a vehicle on Frankstown Avenue and Sterrett Street around 10 p.m.
Responding units located a 30-year-old female in the street who was unconscious. She was transported by EMS to the hospital in critical condition.
The driver of the vehicle fled the scene in what is described as a black or dark blue pickup truck.
The Collision Investigation Unit is investigating.
