Firefighters responded to a 1-Alarm fire that displaced several people just after 7:30 p.m. on January 11, 2021.
The fire was contained to one unit in the second story of a home on the 2300 block of Reed Street.
Firefighters rescued one person from a porch roof and they were transported to a local hospital for treatment. No one else, including any first responders, were injured.
Two neighboring units were also exposed to the fire and the Red Cross is helping several people who were displaced find temporary housing.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
