Zone 1 Officers Respond to Shooting, One Injured

Summary:
Just before 10 p.m. on January 13, Zone 1 officers responded to a Shotspotter alert in the area of the 2900 block of North Charles Street.
Upon first arrival, they did not find any victims in the area. At about 10:30, a male walked into a local hospital in stable condition with a gunshot wound to the abdomen and the two incidents were connected.
Officers were then able to locate a crime scene outside a building on the 2900 block of N. Charles Street.
MCU processed the scene and the investigation is ongoing.
