Firefighters Respond for Wilkinsburg Apartment Building Fire

Location: Wilkinsburg
Summary:

Firefighters with the Pittsburgh Bureau of Fire worked to extinguish a 3-alarm residential structure fire in the 800 block of Pitt Street in Wilkinsburg overnight.

There were no reported injuries.

As many of the apartments in the three-story apartment building were occupied, the Red Cross is providing assistance to displaced residents. 

The Fire Investigation Unit was on scene to investigate the cause of the fire.
