Police Responded To a Violent Domestic Call in Lincoln-Lemington

Summary:

Pittsburgh Police responded to a domestic 9-1-1 call for the 7000 block of Apple Street around 3:20 a.m.

When Zone 5 officers arrived, they could hear a verbal argument from inside the home. A male spoke with police on the front porch, before shoving one officer.

The officer suffered a wrist injury during the fall. A second officer detained the male shortly after.

Police located a female victim inside the home with a wound to her head. She was taken to a local hospital by medics in stable condition.

The injured officer was transported in stable condition to be evaluated.

The suspect was taken to the ACJ and charges are pending.
