UPDATE: 3/7/2022 10:11 a.m. 

On March 5, Tyreace Platt, 27, of Pittsburgh was arrested by members of the US Marshals Western Pennsylvania Fugitive Task Force, Pittsburgh Police SWAT and Pittsburgh Police Fugitive Apprehension Unit. 

Platt is charged with Criminal Homicide, Robbery – Inflict Serious Bodily Harm, Possession of Firearm Prohibited, Firearms Not to be Carried Without a License, Conspiracy-Criminal Homicide.

He was transported to Allegheny County Jail.

Original incident details:

Pittsburgh Police and EMS responded for a 9-1-1 call of a male shot on the 2200 block of Wilner Drive around 7 p.m.

When Zone 5 officers arrived, they located the adult male victim on the first level of the home.

Medics pronounced the victim at the scene.

The Mobile Crime Unit and Homicide detectives arrived to process the scene.

There were no suspect descriptions and the investigation is ongoing.
