Update 2/11/2022 6 p.m.: Detectives arrested two males for the critical shooting on Woods Run Ave.

Kurt Ianuzzo, 51, of the North Side and Jake Ianuzzo, 22, of the North Side. Both are charged with Criminal Attempt Homicide, Aggravated Assault, and Discharging a Firearm into an Occupied Structure.

Both are currently in the Allegheny County Jail.

Pittsburgh Police responded to multiple Shotspotter alerts for the 1000 block of Woods Run Avenue around 10:40 p.m.

When Zone 1 officers arrived, they observed evidence of a shooting and two nearby gunshot victims.

The first was located in a home on the 900 block of Woods Run Avenue. Responding officers located the male with a gunshot wound to the back. They rendered aid until medics arrived. He was transported to a local hospital in serious condition.

The second victim was located at the intersection of Woods Run and Maridale with a gunshot in the lower leg. Officers immediately applied a tourniquet to the victim.

Police detained three individuals at the scene.

The investigation is ongoing.
