UPDATE: Police have made an arrest in this incident.
Alan Todd Sloan, 55, is charged with Robbery, Theft by Unlawful Taking and Prohibited Acts.
He was transported to Allegheny County Jail.
Original incident details:
Pittsburgh Police responded to the 1900 block of Murray Avenue for a reported robbery around 5:35 p.m.
When Zone 4 officers arrived, they located a witness that stated the suspected walked in the Giant Eagle, and demanded cash from the register multiple times.
The male suspect stated he had a weapon, but it was not displayed.
He fled towards an unknown direction wearing a yellow hoodie.
Crime Scene Unit detectives arrived and processed the scene.
