Summary: Pittsburgh Bureau of Police officers responded to a report of an armed carjacking in the 5500 block of Columbo Street around 12:15 a.m.
Responding officers from Zone 5 found a male victim who told police he was in his vehicle when two men approached and pointed a gun at him. One of the suspects got in the passenger side and the other forced the driver out of the vehicle. The suspects then drove away.
Police later recovered the unoccupied vehicle in the 100 block of North Negley Avenue in a parking lot outside of an apartment building. The vehicle was towed for processing.
Police are investigating.
