Pittsburgh Police responded to the 100 block of Knox Avenue for a Shotspotter alert and 9-1-1 call on Friday, March 25 around 11:45 p.m.
When officers arrived, they located a wrecked vehicle with a woman standing outside of it. Upon investigating the scene, Zone 3 officers were alerted to an injured male on nearby Grape Street.
Medics attended to the male inside a home. A person next to the victim stated, a known woman struck the male with a vehicle after a dispute.
The male was transported to a local hospital in critical condition.
The driver of the vehicle has been identified as, 44-year-old Tina McAfee.
She was charged with Aggravated Assault, Criminal Attempt, Aggravated Assault by Vehicle, and Reckless Driving.
McAfee is currently in the Allegheny County Jail.
