UPDATE: Julyan Richards, 25, is charged with Criminal Attempt Homicide, Aggravated Assault, and Tampering with Evidence in connection with this incident.
He is currently in Allegheny County Jail.

Original incident details:
Just before 1:30 a.m. , Zone 3 officers were flagged down for a shooting that occurred on the 2000 block of Sarah Street. Arriving units located a male in his mid 20s, outside of Walker's Pub who had suffered a gunshot wound to the upper body/shoulder area.
Officers rendered aid until medics arrived on scene. He was transported to the hospital in critical condition.
Major Crimes detectives are investigating. The Mobile Crime Unit processed evidence at the scene.
The investigation is ongoing.
