Police Investigate After Male Found Shot on Centre Avenue in the Hill District

Summary:
Just before 10:30 p.m., Zone 2 officers received a ShotSpotter notification for shots fired in the 2000 block of Centre Avenue.
Responding units found a male victim in the middle of the street at the intersection of Centre Avenue and Addison Street. He had been shot at least once in the leg. Officers applied a tourniquet until EMS arrived. He was transported to the hospital in critical but stable condition.
There are no arrests at this time.The investigation is ongoing.
