SWAT Responds to Barricaded Person in Beltzhoover

Summary:

Around 10 p.m. on June 17, 2022, Zone 3 officers and SWAT responded to a home in the 90 block of Sylvania Avenue in Beltzhoover for a barricaded female.

It was determined the female was involved in a custody dispute. 

The child was later safely located in another location outside the home. 

SWAT employed verbal hails and the female surrendered herself peacefully and was taken into custody just after 12:15 a.m.

There were no injuries.
