Pittsburgh Police from Zone 3 responded to ShotSpotter alerts for multiple shots fired on S. 12th Street between E. Carson and Sarah at 3:36 a.m. 

A short time later, a female with a gunshot wound to the leg showed up at the Zone 3 Police station on E. Warrington where she was treated until medics transported her to the hospital in stable condition.

Two additional females with gunshot wounds arrived at a local hospital. One suffered a gunshot wound to the hand that would require surgery, the second female sustained a leg wound. 

All three victims are believed to have sustained their injuries on S. 12th Street following an altercation that led to gunfire.

The Mobile Crime Unit processed the scene. Several people were taken to police headquarters for questioning.

The investigation is ongoing.
