Two People Injured in Structure Fire in Hill District

Summary:
At approximately 2:35 a.m. on July 11th, Pittsburgh Bureau of Fire responded to a structure fire at a home on the 1700 block of Cliff Street in the Hill District.
The fire originated in a third floor bedroom where one female victim was found and helped to safety by another occupant of the home.
Paramedics transported the victim to the hospital in critical condition.
Another female was transported by private means to a local hospital for shortness of breath.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
