Officers Respond to One Person Shot in Zone 3

Summary:

At approximately 9:14 p.m., officers in Zone 3 responded to a Shotspotter alert in the area of Warrington Avenue and Estrella Avenue.

Upon arrival, they found one adult male victim with gunshot wounds to the head after a possible robbery.

EMS transported him to a local hospital in critical condition.

VCU responded and the investigation is ongoing.
