Officers Injured During Arrest on E. Carson Street

Summary:
Pittsburgh Police officers from Zone 3 were called to E. Carson St. between S.13th St. and S.14th St. for reports of a male who was acting violently and making threats just after 3 p.m.
When responding units approached the male he began physically fighting them and officers attempted to arrest him. The officers took the male down on the ground where he continued to fight with them.
One officer received facial lacerations while the other suffered a possible fractured wrist.
The male was transported to the Allegheny County Jail.
