Woman Shot in Leg

Summary:

Pittsburgh Bureau of Police officers responded to the 500 block of W. Prospect Avenue around 12:50 a.m. for a Shotspotter notification of gunfire, followed by a 911 call of a female shot in the leg.

Zone 6 units arrived at the scene and learned that an 18-year old female victim with a gunshot to her leg had been taken by private transport to a local hospital, where she was listed in stable condition.

Police are investigating.
