Police Investigate Fatal Single Vehicle Crash on North Side

Summary:
Police, Fire and EMS were dispatched to the intersection of Ridge Avenue and Allegheny Avenue just after 9 p.m. for a single vehicle collision.
Responding units located an adult male victim inside with critical injuries after the vehicle struck a jersey barrier. Medics transported him to the closest hospital where he was later pronounced deceased. The victim was the only occupant of the vehicle.
The Collision Investigation Unit was called to process the scene.
The investigation is ongoing.
