Pittsburgh Police responded to reported fight on the 2300 block of Murray around 2:40 p.m. An officer in the area observed the dispute between juveniles.

One became combative towards the officer, when he attempted to break them up. The officer deployed his taser on the juvenile. A second juvenile attacked that officer in the process.

Upon witnessing the officer being attacked, a Zone 4 officer deployed a taser on the attacking juvenile.

After being tased, they were evaluated, and cleared by Pittsburgh EMS on scene. They were taken to a local hospital to be further cleared by doctors.

The initial officer suffered a shoulder, and hand injury during the incident. Medics transported the officer in stable condition.

Charges are pending, and the investigation is ongoing.
