Around 3:00 p.m. on September 9, police in Zone 2 responded to the area of Keystone Street and McCandless Avenue after a report of shots fired. 

A male, determined to be Billy Potts,  told officers that he opened fire because someone had entered his home while he was upstairs and took property before leaving in two cars. 

Officers found several shell casings at the scene. 

Shortly afterwards, an adult female arrived at a local hospital by private means with a gusnhot wound to the arm. She was admitted in stable condition. 

MCU arrived and processed the scene. 

This was later determined to be a domestic situation.

Billy Potts was arrested and is facing multiple charges, including Aggravated Assault and Criminal Attempt Homicide. 

He is currently housed in the ACJ.
