Police, EMS Respond to Shooting, Car into Structure in Zone 3

Summary:
At approximately 9:45 p.m. on September 10, 2022, Zone 3 officers responded to a Shotspotter alert in the 200 block of Charles Street in Knoxville.
Upon arrival, they found a male with a grazed gunshot wound. It is believed the car the victim was in then collided with a house during the incident.
The male was transported to a local hospital by EMS.
The investigation is ongoing and more details will be provided as they become available.
