Police and EMS Responded to male Shot in Mt Oliver

Summary:
Pittsburgh Police responded to a reported male shot on the 400 block of Cathedral Avenue around 2 p.m.
When first responders arrived, they located an adult male with a gunshot wound to the chest.
Police rendered aid until the medics arrived.
Pittsburgh EMS transported the victim to a local hospital in critical condition. He was later upgraded to stable condition.
The suspect fled towards an unknown direction.
The investigation is ongoing.
