Police Respond for Vehicle Crashed into a Pole in Windgap

Summary:
Pittsburgh Police from Zone 6 were dispatched to the intersection of Broadhead Fording Road and Windgap Avenue for a vehicle that had struck a pole just before 3 a.m.
Arriving units located an 11-year-old boy who had reportedly taken his grandparents car and had been driving. He was not injured and refused medical transport.
There are no charges at this time. The boy's family members were on scene and he is in their care.
The intersection was closed while Duquesne Light repairs the damaged pole.
