Police and EMS Responded to Fatal Shooting on Bedford Avenue

Summary:
Pittsburgh Police and EMS responded to the 1800 block of Bedford Avenue around 1:15 p.m. for a reported shooting.
When Zone 2 officers arrived, they located an adult male lying in a doorway.
Medics pronounced the gunshot victim deceased at the scene.
A second individual was treated, and transported to a local hospital in stable condition with a hand injury.
The Mobile Crime Unit arrived to process the scene.
The investigation is ongoing.
