Police Responded to a Shotspotter Alert in Sheraden

Summary:
Pittsburgh Police responded for a 17-round Shotspotter alert on the 500 block of Sherwood Avenue around 8:45 p.m.
While investigating the area, Zone 6 officers were notified of a juvenile with a gunshot wound to the leg. Police located that victim on the 2900 block of Zephyr Avenue.
Officers applied tourniquets to the victim’s legs prior to the arrival of Pittsburgh EMS.
A second juvenile victim was located with a gunshot wound to the foot.
Medics transported both victims to a local hospital in stable condition. Mobile Crime Unit and detectives arrived to process the scene.
The investigation is ongoing.
