Police, EMS Respond to Shooting

Summary:
Zone 3 officers responded to two Shotspotter alerts for multiple rounds on the 200 block of of Wilbur Street at 10:39 a.m. on October 2nd.
Officers found and adult male nearby suffering from gunshot wounds and rendered aid until EMS arrived.
Paramedics transported the victim in critical but stable condition.
At the time of the shooting, it appears the victim was in a vehicle with one other person who took cover in a nearby home and was not injured.
The Mobile Crime Unit processed the scene and VCU are investigating.
There is no one in custody at this time.
