As initially reported, first responders from Pittsburgh Bureau of EMS and Pittsburgh Bureau of Police were on scene after an adult male fell from an escalator inside Acrisure Stadium on October 2nd and later passed away at a local hospital.

As with all situations involving an unnatural death, Pittsburgh Bureau of Police Major Crimes Unit is investigating the events at Sunday’s game.

The cause and manner of death, including any toxicology results, will come from the Medical Examiner.

The Pittsburgh Department of Public Safety will not be commenting further at this time in order to allow the investigations to continue.
