Police in Zone 4 Respond to Carjacking in Shadyside

Summary:

At 10:35 p.m. on October 4, Zone 4 units responded to the 5900 block of South Alder Street for an armed carjacking and robbery. 

The victim stated he had exited his vehicle to check on a headlight while in the lot of an apartment building when a nale came up behind him and pointed a gun. 

The actor instructed the victim to run away and leave the keys to the vehicle. 

There is no one in custody at this time and the investigation is ongoing.
