Police Arrest Male After Dog Found With Stab Wound

Summary:

Pittsburgh Police from Zone 3 responded to an apartment complex in the 200 block of Reifert Street after blood was discovered in the hallway of the building just after 4 p.m.

Officers later located a male suspect at a nearby McDonalds with a dog that had suffered a laceration to its neck. Animal Care and Control retrieved the dog and transported it for emergency veterinary care.

The male was arrested and charges are pending.
