Police Investigate Carjacking in Zone 5

Summary:
Just after 6 p.m. on October 19, 2022, Zone 5 officers responded to the 200 block of Fern Street for a stolen vehicle report.
Upon arrival, they located a food delivery driver whose vehicle was taken during a delivery.
The driver reported that as he left his vehicle to deliver food, two males pulled up in another vehicle. The passenger of the second vehicle then entered the victim’s car.
When then victim ran back to prevent this, the suspect attempted to hit him with the stolen car.
The actors left the scene with both vehicles.
There was no weapon seen during this incident.
There is no one in custody and the investigation is ongoing.
