Pittsburgh Bureau of Police officers from Zone 5 responded to reports of an aggravated assault/stabbing in the 7000 block of Idlewild Street just after 10 p.m.
When officers arrived on scene they found a male victim inside a residence with stab wounds to his torso, face and hands.
He was transported by EMS in critical but stable condition to a local hospital.
Another male was also treated for wounds incurred during the dispute between the two men inside the residence. He was later arrested and charges are pending.

UPDATE: Leroy Hicks, 54, of Pittsburgh has been charged with one count of Aggravated Assault.
He is currently being held in Allegheny County Jail.
