Police Responded to Shotspotter Alerts on Rhine Place

Summary:
Pittsburgh Police responded to multiple Shotspotter alerts for a total of 34-rounds fired on the 100 block of Rhine Place around 11:55 p.m. on October 27.
When Zone 1 officers arrived, they were directed to three gunshot victims. A female suffered a gunshot wound to the arm. Officers applied a tourniquet on her before medics arrived.
The second female was struck in the leg.
A male was stuck in the neck. Medics transported him to a local hospital in critical condition. The females were transported as stable.
The investigation is ongoing.
