Pittsburgh Police from Zone 1 responded for two ShotSpotter alerts for a total of 11 rounds fired in the 300 block of Penfort Street at approximately 7 p.m.
Officers located two male victims at the scene. One suffered gunshot wounds to the head, back, and arm. Medics transported him to the hospital in critical condition.
The second victim was shot in the upper leg area and was taken to the hospital in stable condition. Their ages are not known at this time.
Detectives from the Violent Crime Unit are investigating.
