One Person Arrested after Stabbing at Convenience Store

Summary:
On December 5, Zone 1 officers responded to the 7-11 on Western Avenue for a reported stabbing.
When they arrived, one person was placed in custody, later identified as Jeffrey Braxton.
Witnesses stated that Braxton had just stabbed a store employee after being asked to leave the store for causing a disturbance.
The victim sustained wounds to the face and chest. Offiers rendered first aid until EMS arrived and Medic 10 transported the victim to a local hospital.
Braxton was treated on-scene by medics.
He was transported to the ACJ and is charged with Aggravated Assault.
