Police, EMS Respond for SingleVehicle Crash into Structure

Summary:
Just before 8:20 p.m., Zone 5 officers were dispatched to the intersection of Apple Street and Stranahan Street for a reported crash.
Responding units located a single vehicle that had struck an abandoned structure. The male driver suffered a head injury and medics transported him to the hospital in serious condition. He was the only occupant of the vehicle.
Permits, Licenses and Inspections (PLI) was called to evaluate the structural integrity of the building.
The exact cause of the collision is under investigation.
