Crews Respond to Fatal Pedestrian Crash

Summary:

At 1:44 p.m., Pittsburgh police, EMS and Fire crews responded to a report of a woman struck by a dump truck on the 5000 block of Second Avenue in Hazelwood.

Upon arrivals, crews found a woman I her 70's that had been struck by a dump truck while crossing the road.

She was declared deceased at the scene.

The driver of the truck also stayed on scene.

Collision Investigation responded and the investigation into the crash is ongoing.
