Crews Respond After Piece of Concrete Falls from Building

Summary:

Crews responded to the 650 block of Smithfield Street in the Downtown area for reports that a piece of concrete fell from a structure. 

It appears the concrete piece was part of a building that was already under construction, and fell onto a neighboring building causing some damage. 

The extent of the damage is not known at this time. 

Police were on scene to section off the area and PLI will investigate. 

These are preliminary details as that investigation is ongoing.
